Chinese Steamboat Dinner - celebrating Yan´s Birthday

For my buddy´s 22nd birthday we (Emily, Martin, Jaqueline, Hannes and me) and some of Yan´s friends went out for a traditional chinese dinner at a local restaurant.

Martin and Emily throwing up the salad - part of a Chinese New Year ritual where you wish each other luck... you can imagine the mess afterwards...but you still eat it afterwards...

but we especialy liked the ice birthday cake... however before eating the cake we of course had to sing Happy Birthday, in a very international way - two German versions, two Chinese versions and once, for everybody to understand, in English. I think Yan was really impressed... ;-)


after everybody had a piece there was still lots left so we started playing games, yes like at a childrens birthday party to get rid of the rest of the cake - it was just so much fun, we had a really good time and in the end the whole cake was gone... :-)
